Hello. I recently bought a 2009 Hyundai Elantra, 2.0 liter, 4 cyl, with 140,000 miles.
The car sometimes lowers the revolutions when idle. Sometimes when I'm driving at 40 or 50 and brake at the stoplight, the revolutions goes under the 500 RPM's, stalls a little and comes up quickly.
I have changed the fuel filter, changed the mass air flow sensor, cleaned the throtle body, changed the Purge Valve, cleaned the injectors manually with the 9 volt battery and solvent method, changed the air filter, changed the spark plugs and the spark plug wires and I have made sure to disconnect the negative battery terminal before making any changes to the car.
Although this may not have to do with the problem, I also changed the solenoids and transmission hardness and flushed all the old oil and put in new oil. Also I did flushed the old coolant, cleaned all the hoses and installed a new thermostat.
The Check Engine light is off. I have an OBD2 scanner on hand. Maybe someone can tell me what else to check or troubleshoot with.

If you have already cleaned the throttle body inside thoroughly and you have no air or vacuum leaks, then you likely need to replace the Idle Speed Control actuator.
Circled in the picture.

Thanks! Now that you mentioned the Idle Air Control Valve, I remember taking it out and it was dirty and sticky inside. So I cleaned with carburetor cleaner spray and remove all the gunk. But… should I replaced it anyway?

Well, you still have a problem so you have to do something. Carb cleaner alone will leave it dry and not smooth. If you want to try something else first, take it out again and lube it up with some WD40 or other spray lube. If that doesn't work, replace it.
