2012 Honda Odyssey- Check Charge System Sign In

I have a 2012 Honda Odyssey with a check charge system light on. This is what happened. Driving on freeway almost felt like i hit something but 110% did not hit something, the check battery light came on, and then 10 min later check charge system came on along with a Red battery light, and it felt like the car was periodically stalling. Eventually all my gauges started going all the way down until i got to safetly then my car would not start at all. Towed it to my house. We replaced the battery, the serpentine belt and bench tested my altenator. My altenator was fine. Put the car all together and the light was off until i went to run an errand and 10 min later the check charge system came back on. The altenator puts out 11.6 volts. Took it to a mechanic who said it was the altenatror, so we took it back home and repalced it ourselves. The check charge system comes on immeadiatly now, and the new altenator is still pumping out 11.6 volts. The car runs perfectly smooth no hard steering, no stalling, no smells or smoke, it runs as if nothing is wrong except the Check Charge system is on, and everytime we drive it it drains the battery. Any advice? As now 2 mechanics have looked at and they dont seem to troubleshoot past it being the altenator.

Stop driving it that way. It's not charging.

You may have burned out the fusible link between the alternator and the battery. If you can get access to the alternator test for power at the large main terminal with the ENGINE OFF.

If you have no power there then the fusible link is burned out. If you do have power there, then test all the smaller fuses at both boxes with a test light with the key on.

i will try that.
We have not been driving it besides when we thought it was fixed, and then since then only to another mechanic 5 min away, who isn't helpful at all.
