1987 Honda Accord DX bucking

My son comlained about the car "bucking". He said it ran fine cold, but once warmed up, it started bucking upon acceleration. We bought this a couple of month's ago, replaced plugs as PM. Former owner stated he had recently replaced distributor. Is this pointing to either a bad coil, distributor or carb? Any experiences of this from anyone?
