Exhaust O2 sensor plug issue

I recently replaced a catalytic converter on my 20 year old car.
The new converter had 3 O2 sensor ports one with a metal plug, my car only uses 2. After the repair the plugged port factory installed plug was ejected on the highway after about 10 miles. So I replaced the plug tightly with a same dimensioned oil pan plug from AutoZone and used thread locker. The 2nd plug was ejected after about 50 miles.
How do I keep that thing in?

You can use an oil drain plug for that. That is a high temp situation and requires a special plug. I have never seen one come out on it's own so it must have been left loose in the first place. If you go to a muffler shop they should have a bunch laying around from previous installations.
