It certainly will put the check engine light on.

It's also a Federal offense with a $25,000 fine for intentionally tampering with the emission controls.

I just gotta ask why you want to do that, illegal, legal or not?

>Back> Been around a while, long before this lousy idea from day 1 fuel was also available with lead that quickly wrecked them was much cheaper "gas" than lower octane "unleaded" fuel.

The first of some had drain plugs to let the coated BBs out if you wanted to replace them or had to!

Duh - folks just let them spray all over creation with wrecked/clogged converters at least could use the vehicle.

There's no need to get rid of one for any reason except abuse, rusted ends on some now that "unleaded" is all there is the things don't harm performance at all that I can tell rather part of seriously engineered back pressure enough to save the engine's valves.

They run like crap (a few have been by) without didn't run well at all the fuel delivery of this is calculated by how well it burned at what temps all around the thing.

Just don't - you'll regret it. If it's bad now you must find out what caused it IMO it's killing itself if so,

Tom
