Check Engine Light Troubleshoot

2017 Hyundai Elantra
Check engine light cam on
1. MAP sensor code, with a secondary Cam code
2.Changed MAP.
3. Light still on, Primary Cam sensor, secondary Crank sensor
4.Changed Cam Sensor.
5. Light still on. Primary Crank Sensor code, secondary VVT Solenoid.
6.Changed both.
7.Light still on, back to P0017 and P0014.
8.Mechanic changed Cam and VVT solenoid, performed oil change, changed coils/plug.
9.Light still on P0017 and P0014
10.Mechanic states timing chain.
11. Light still on with P0017 and P0014, with new "blink code, open circuit 3,6"
12. Discovered PDM relays had been removed and not replaced, and two blown fuses.
13. Replaced fuses and relays.
14. Vehicle has no drivability issue, smooth idle, excellent gas mileage, no engine noise. No indication of timing issues. still throwing P0017 and P0014.
Codes were cleared in between each repair.

Let me clarify.
He suspects the timing chain.
He did not inspect the timing chain, and could not guarantee that was the issue.
Wanted and additional $4000+ for the work.
The vehicle is showing no signs of timing chain issue. Drivability is good, 40+ mpg, no abnormal noise, no rough idle.

Do you know what those codes mean?

They're indicative of timing correlation issue.
The vehicle has no symptoms of timing issues.
The mechanic could not guarantee, nor did he inspect the timing chain.

They could also be indicative of low, bad, incorrect oil.
However, the oil was changed as well.

DTC Description
This diagnosis checks the camshaft position plausibility whether the expected range plus some margin is not violated that might be caused by a wrong engine repair, or a chain/belt misalignment. DTC P001700 is set when actual camshaft position is too much retarded or advanced than full retard position or full advance position. To continue the adjustment in such case could lead to a damage of the engine by hitting the valves with the piston.
It's pretty apparent you don't want to hear anything that you don't agree with so I don't believe we will be any help to you.
This is a case of a little knowledge can be dangerous.

I could look up and quote exact ASE definitions too, if I wanted to.
I also can research and inquire as to symptoms of timing chain issue, none of which my vehicle shows.
It never hurts to get a second opinion (on any subject in life), specifically when the diagnosis doesn't fit the symptoms and no firm evidence can be presented, other than an "educated guess".
There are a multitude of minor issues that could cause the ECU to trigger codes that are inaccurate. There are also multiple diagnoses for each code.
If you have no valuable input, that is acceptable.
If you would like to offer a possible alternate solution, that would be acceptable as well.

You can just keep throwing parts at it and telling the mechanics they don't know what their talking about.
