1996 chevy astro van 4.3 157000miles have a po107 code van runs fine but every so offen it stalls they said to replace the map sensor or check the voltage to the map sensor how do you check the voltage and what wires do you check

Who is "they"?
It would be easiest to check the voltage in a datastream with a scanner. You could also back probe the wires at sensor and check it with a voltmeter.
I would also check the vacuum line going to the sensor to make sure it's not broken or cracked............
