Simple answer........................NO
Make sure you find out why it failed before you replace it.

NO also. If anything can help if all fixed as to WHY it's a long hard run get the thing really hot could burn off some types of contamination. The magic in a bottle I just don't believe 99% of save your $$, fix why then a hard ride legally see how it comes out for new it is,
