About a month or two ago, my battery died. I mean completely died; wouldn't hold a charge when jumped, and didn't even have enough power for the electronic locks to work. I replaced the battery and everything was great, for about a week. I now have a whole slew of electrical problems and problem codes. First off, the speedometer, tachometer, and engine temperature gauges will suddenly drop to zero for a few seconds while driving, frantically regaining it's reading every few seconds before dropping back to zero. Sometimes the check engine light is on, sometimes it's not; it honestly seems random. I have a Bluetooth reader installed to send the error codes to my phone, and I keep getting the same 5 or 6 codes every few days: P0700, U0073, U0100, U0109, P069E, and P06914. To put the cherry on top, occasionally I'm met with the violent jarring of the transmission as I shift into drive as the car is now in "limp mode" and today the car failed to start for a solid hour; no clicks, no attempt to roll over, nothing, until one attempt it finally started with no issues. The "limp mode" problem is normally fixed by simply turning off the car and restarting. On top of all of this, the dash and center console display will dim randomly, making the back up camera basically impossible to use during the day. I had absolutely no electrical issues before changing the battery, and now all of a sudden it seems like EVERYTHING is going wrong; this has all happened in the span of a month or two. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

The battery didn't cause anything but it may have been the victim of the root problem.

Many of those codes are communication codes mean one of the modules is not communicating with the others. The P0700 is a generic trans code that sets in the PCM to alert you to check the trans module so that is a good hint that the issue may be in the trans module. You need a shop with a professional scan tool to access each module separately.
