starter relay missing

i have a 2004, oldsmobile, alero, 2.2 liter eco motor. So a while back a mechanic had to replace my fuse box in the engine compartment. I discovered yesterday that the fuse box doesn't have a starter relay spot but it still has the old cover with the map that says there is a starter relay. I think when other people messed with my car they undid what the fuse box replace guys did, do you know how I can bypass the starter relay or possibly hook a different wire from starter to fuse box manually. The connection, under the fuse box should be the same, idk

Are you saying the car doesn't run now? You said this happened a while back. This car doesn't use a starter relay. Is it an auto trans? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
