Key Not Detected "Manufacturing Control" 2013 Focus Sign In

Hi, I've got a 2013 ford focus se flex fuel.
118k

FYI - My keys hit the ground from the 4th floor patio trying to throw them to someone on ground level who missed the catch.
They are just plastic and metal. I bought the car aftermarket and it came with no fob and the key itself has no batter chips, wires or anything to speak of on the inside of the keys top portion.

It's not starting/cranking at all.
Key inserts, turns to the on position and dash and everything powers up. When cranking to start a message will show up on dash "key not detected".
I can hear something (maybe a fuel/air valve) making noise when I crank the engine. But no cranking whatsoever.

Had a mobile mechanic come and swap out the starter.
Volt meter the batter, and check terminal connections.
He hooked up his code reader and said it said it's giving a code for "manufacturing control" and that it's essentially in a safe mode where it seems like it's being stolen. And he doesn't know what else to do.

Now pity story...
I'm at a hotel tonight only, check out at 11am tomorrow am super broke, and supposed to be at work tomorrow back home 3hrs away and can't bring it to a dealership without towing it when it opens at 7am tomorrow.

I'm trying to calculate hotel stays, towing fees, possible stealership costs, and who to beg for a loan real quick.
Posting here is a not very hopeful last resort..

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated no matter how sure you are.

Thank you!!

Link deleted .......... not allowed

This is a link to the exact key I have.
Apparently it does have a chip that needs to be programmed to the car itself.
I'm guessing it got damaged when I dropped the keys. Not sure if I can get it reprogrammed or need a new key.
Will likely have to wait for the dealer like I thought..

Of course it has a chip.
The mobile mechanic you called must be a total moron to replace a starter when there is a key warning right on the dash.

You need a new key cut and programmed. A mobile locksmith would be your best bet but you are going to spend at least $100
