Bulb assembly won’t come out

Hello there! Have a burnt out bulb on my 2011 Kia Sportage (about 170000 kms on it). Not sure of engine size, but shouldn’t matter for this particular inquiry. I’m trying to replace the driver side signal bulb. It looks super easy to do, I have the correct replacement bulbs already. Your supposed to turn a knob to remove the bulb assembly, replace bulb on the assembly, and reinsert the whole assembly. Trouble is - the knob won’t budge at all! The entire assembly is fixed into place and won’t come out. Any ideas? :) My bulb assembly looks just like the video on the page below, under “3. Remove Bulb - Steps to remove a burnt out bulb” https://www.carcarekiosk.com/video/2012_Kia_Sportage_EX_2.4L_4_Cyl./lights/turn_signal_front

It will turn but only a small amount, about 1/4 turn. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Believe me, It will, assuming you have the same setup shown in that video.

I’ll give it a go again then I suppose. I tried using a plier to grasp it and get more leverage but the thing is stuck like it’s glued in place. Won’t budge a 1/8 inch. Anyways, I’ll give it another go. Thanks for your responses. :)

If it has a 90deg angle like the video you should be able to grasp the plug and turn it.

Yes, it looks just like the video. I don’t know much about cars, but believe me, I know how to turn a knob . It’s just stuck. And I’m turning it the right way. There’s an arrow that indicates which way is open/closed. But I’ll try again! Thank you! :)
