Hi Guys,

Hopefully one of you have encountered this problem before. my 2014, lexus is 300H, radio, infotainment screen and power mirrors are not working. However it did not just happen, i bought this new bigger 10.25 inch screen to replace the OEM version (cause it's laggy and Sh!t). After the replacement (which was not that hard), just unplugged one pin connection from the back of the radio head unit and plugged in the new one for the upgraded screen. When i turned on the car the radio, screen and power mirrors were not working. I am pulling my hair out trying to find a solution, tried unplugging battery, connecting back the OEM screen, checking the radio fuse under the passenger kick panel. Nothing seems to do it, perhaps i pulled the video cable from the back of the radio head unit too hard or something? Don't know...

Are there any other fuses associated with the radio head unit? The fuse box (located under the passenger kick panel) is the only fuse box i checked, is there one in the engine bay as well and if so is it linked to the radio/power mirrors?. I did see in other forums that some Toyota/Lexus car has Radio1 and 2 fuses, could i also have it and it could be located elsewhere?

I will try to check the fuses with a voltmeter later this week, in the meantime however, if anyone has had a problem like this before could you please share your experience or suggestions on how to rectify this? Thanks.

P.S. cig and usb ports not working either.

We are professional techs. We don't diagnose problems by past experience. We systematically troubleshoot problems.

You are going to find that this system is way more sophisticated than you are prepared to deal with. There are multiple related circuits and many of them are sourced through control modules.

About the only thing you could do is test every single fuse using a computer safe test light with the key on testing for power/ground at both ends of every fuse.

Was not asking to diagnose anything, was only curious if anyone has come across this issue and if so what was the solution that solved it. I will ultimately go to a certified lexus technician if i absolutely have to, just trying to see if this could be something simple as what you mentioned (i.e. changing out a blown fuse).

Will test each fuse for both the engine bay and under the passenger's kick panel. I don't have one of those computer safe test light things, i do have a voltmeter. That should do it right?

Not really because that doesn't detect ground or open circuit which can be telling. Also the probes are too thick to access the contact holes in the fuses.

Ok, noted. Will get myself the computer test light. Is there a particular fuse i should pay more attention to? I did pull out the radio fuse yesterday and visually it looked fine. There a lot more fuses that i don't fully understand and know what they correspond to, and these are only the ones under the kick panel, there is another fuse box in the engine bay as well. I am attaching a link below to a photo showing the cover of my fuse box. Do you see anything else which could be related to radio/power mirrors?

It's apparent that you're still looking for the magic bullet that you won't find here.

I don't believe this is the right forum for you.

I've given you all the help we can and I'm going to close this question now.
