i have a 1995 lexus es300 and when i got it the stereo didnt work it would turn on and everything just fine but there was no sound no matter if it was on radio or cd. i thought it was the deck so i put in an aftermarket stereo and it too turns on and everything but still no sound. i checked all the fuses and they are fine. its not the speakers i just put in new ones please help

If you are using the factory wiring then is sure sounds like you have a wiring problem. If everything is working on the deck including the memory when the key is off then then both power sources and ground should be good.....

I would pull the unit and manually wire in a speaker, if it works you may have to run new speaker wires............

the factory amp is probably bad, and if you are using the original wiring, you are still going through that amp. you will more than likely need to rewire the speakers and bypass the factory amp.
