Hello I am looking for some help. I have a 1997 Dodge Intrepid, Recently my car stereo has been giving me problems. I have had the car for a little over 6 months with no problems with the stereo before but now whenever I make a harder left turn the complete left side of audio goes off. Right side still working. It seems to be only doing it when I turn left, and after the turn is completed it is back to normal... I really do not have much knowledge about car stereos.. The only thing I know about the stereo other than it is obviously not the factory one, is that its an 60W x 4 Alpine CD Player w/ remote (type where the screen flips down and you insert the disc) and there are 4 speakers in the car... Is there any specific reason why it would be doing this? At first i though maybe the wire in the rear was lose, after fiddling with it, it still happens (the rear speaker is currently not connected right now and the front still does it. Anyone run into anything similar or have any advice? Thanks for any help.

Definately sounds like a wiring problem. For the simple fact of:when the car turns, problem happens. Its the inertia in the turn that moves things. Try checking your wiring to both speakers on left side, make sure they are tight. If both are good, check speaker wiring on the back of the unit, and harness. If they are both good, check your balance on the stereo settings and make sure its equal L & R.
