Toyota click noise when accelerating

Hi, I have a Toyota Corolla 2000 model and when i accelerate in 1st or 2nd gear, there is a single 'click' noise. I am driving a very long distance on friday. What is is it and should I be concerned? Many thanks

Late now as things were down here for a while. A noise as described really need be heard by a hands on tech to really know IMO.
I'm thinking it's a CV joint but only a wild guess,
