While driving regularly, no noise is heard. However, when I put my foot to the floor, I can hear a high pitched chirping noise that stops as soon as I let off the accelerator. My first thought was a belt or tensioner, but I was a little put off by the fact that it only happens when I put my foot to the floor. Any experience I've had with belts going bad you can hear any time you accelerate. Any input appreciated. If it is determined to be ignition pinging, other things to check would be the operation of the EGR valve.
