I hear a clicking noise at low speed. Coming from left front wheel area(not the brakes) Don't know if it's at higher speed-can't tell because of road noise. Seems to be worse when making right hand turns. 2001 Ford ranger 4.0

RIGHT NOW! CHECK THAT THE WHEELS ARE TIGHTENED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Left wheels will loosen and right wheels will tighten by nature of rotation. Don't even read anymore and go check! We will still be here when you get back, PLEASE rule that out! -- Tom

Good for you for checking the wheels - I was scared! Now it's a hubcap (remove to check) or a possible brake noise. The pads don't hit the whole rotor and a rust ring can develop and cause noise - that almost always changes when brakes are applied or not?? By itself is not a safety issue just annoying but investigating is still the right thing to do, let us know what you find,

Probably brakes. The pads can still do funny things. If you ever feel a compremise in braking run don't walk for help. There's only so much any of us can do with a keyboard! Tom
