brake pedal gets suked to the floor

Hi everyone this is my friends 99 siena 3.0 the brake pedal is dragging and it fees like there is something binding, where should we check first any ideas will help.

post is confusing... Is the pedal not returning to top after after applying brakes? might check return spring at top of pedal- something binding. Is the pedal going to floor? you would have a warning light or ABS try to clear that confusion...let us know...

thank you for the response, sorry like you said the pedal stays half way on the floor and I hear some kind of binding.

first thought is binding- start with a visible inspection-- check the return spring, bushings, even the brake switch - any recent repairs ?
