Is there a waiver document for liability Sign In

Hello:
I have a person that has contacted me and asked me to replace their brake pads. I normally do this for family.
However, I explained to the person in question that I would do this replacement if there was a document saying that I would not be responsible for any problems afterwards, and the work was done in good faith.

Where can a basic document like this be found?
Thanks

No, there isn't and if that is even a question with you, then you should stay away from this job.

I wish the owner of the vehicle posted here as I would advise them to have a professional repair their brakes. The car they hit may be my family.

By even asking you can't get a waiver! That alone means you already know there's risk so you'd lose that one. Same as HT just don't or avoid that till or unless you are fully documented to do it and or insured. Really - liability or not do you really want to be the one that allowed that to harm or kill anyone? Hope not,

T
