My 2014 Sonata with stock rims now have a dent. 225 45 R 18 = 225 width, aspect ratio of 45%, Radial, 18 inch diameter. The two right rims are dented, and the front one has a crack as well. Just trying to learn about rim repair - how does the process work? How much does it cost and who is the expert at doing such? What kind of equipment is needed and how effectively can they be repaired to perfect condition? Anything helps, Michael

There are numerous companies that specialize in that. They charge between $100 and $150 per wheel. They straighten the wheel, weld and refinish any cracks. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
