I need to replace my back passenger side door and I got a quote of 1800-2000 dollars to fix it at the garage. After doing some research, I feel like I can buy a door from a salvage yard for 500 and replace the door myself with a help of a friend. Does anyone have any experience in this? Would you recommend doing a diy or taking it to a garage? At least thru '99 they were welded but could remove the hinge pin. Yes they are hard and big bucks for whole thing.
