If that is paint, then you're only option will be to sand it off and seal, then repaint. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

If that pic is right to me it looks like the "U" in the word blue is already scratched into the paint or beyond outer paint so it would have to be redone there, T

Not my trade but who the heck said acetone? TMK all my restorations were done with sandpaper and hard work sent out as I don't do the finish paint AFTER a total resto, T

Use a hair dryer and heat it up. It should peel off. Then use cleaner to clean off any residual glue. There is a product made to take stickers off cars, but I can't think of the name. We pull logos off cruisers using heat and it works really well. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds

WD40 works good for removing the glue residue.

WD-40 works for everything. I spray it on myself before I get home so the kids can't cling to me. They just slide off and go back to playing.
