Hi all I'm new here. I drive a 2015 Hyundai i30. I noticed a chipped paint with signs of rusting on the bonnet as I was cleaning the car. I am wondering if you could let me know what is the best way to fix this problem? Thank you. Picture here: https://ibb.co/ebgJmQ

Just buy a little bottle of touch up with a built in brush and just dab it to cover the bare metal. It will still be visible but not as bad. Fixing it right would require a bunch of sanding, priming and filling and the painting a large area. It could run in the hundreds so just touch it up and live with it for the time being. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Thanks for your quick reply. If I use a touch up paint and paint it over, would this stop the existing rust from getting any worse? Cheers.

It will definitely slow it down dramatically.
