I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer 4wd. Two nights ago, the service 4wd light came on. I noticed that the light by the 2wd button was no longer lit. I put the truck in neutral and pressed the 4wd hi button, but nothing happened. I then hit the 4wd auto button, and again the light didn't come on. I then pressed the 2wd button again, but the light by the button didn't come on. If I drive the vehicle, it appears to run fine; however, if I turn the wheels tight, in either forward or reverse, then it won't move so well. I also have a jeep and the feeling I get from the blazer is like the hubs are locked, like when I lock them on the jeep and then turn a sharp corner. Obviously I have to take this in, but I'm wondering if someone can indicate what it might be just so I know if the repair shop will be looking in the right direction.
