okay i don't know if this is the correct spot to ask a question but here it is.
i'm attempting to help a friend sell a couple of cars. he's currently recovering from health problems so has asked me for help.
i'm really having problems even locating values on the vehicles. both are older than what most websites deal with. also both have mostly been in storage for over a decade so the milage is extremely low. any suggestions?
go there and on the right side click on used cars, it will walk you through.... or if you prefer, you could always visit a local barnes and noble, and the carry the actually hardcopy of the price guide which you can use to find out the price values.
or if you have time to wait.... post the year make model, and mileage and condition, and I could take a run over to BN for you....
If these cars have just been sitting for a decade they will need fuel treated or drained and replaced, new batteries, tires pumped up and more depending on how they were stored.

they were stored pretty well with the battery cables unhooked.
we made the mistake of charging the battery on the mercedes & taking it for a spin. (my 16 year old's idea). of course we had no brakes! we're going to get the air out of the brakes & i'll go over your other suggestions to make sure it's safe to drive.
i'm starting to think it would be better to donate the olds to charity. i'll talk to my friend about that.
