centerpin alignment

I am having problems alighnung the centerpin on the front leaf springs to the axle hold.......anybody have any advice? 2002 f 350

I've done some back ones and it should be the same. I would support the weight of the truck so the spring was loose and slowly lower till it's close with just minimal pressure and nudge it with even a rubber hammer if necessary till it's lined up then finish up with more weight holding it in place, T
