ExxonMobil is swimming in cash...while polar bears are drowning in the Arctic.

ExxonMobil raked in over $35 billion in profits in 2005, and another $8.4 billion in the first quarter of 2006. But where are Exxon's priorities?

Tired of OIL and The Companies pushing for more drilling rather then refining a better solution...

ExxonMobil is the sole major oil company to remain in Arctic Power, the lobbying group whose only purpose is to open the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to toxic oil drilling.

I really think it's a case of suppy and demand and unless the only place you can buy fuel is ExxonMobil.

We are going to need oil even if cars don't burn it. Think of the millions of everday items that require oil products to make and safe lives. The keyboard on your computer and millions of other things are made of plastics and that starts with oil products. We are stuck with it right now. If you don't like practices of ExxonMobil don't buy their products. That's' just American free enterprise.

As far as ANWR what scares me the most is it may not have lots of oil percentage wise! Any work there would be so highly regulated that I really think that project can be done with little impact. If a program I saw on that is true it will only involve 200 acres of land when completed and can be fully restored when it runs dry, T

hey tom i agree with you. oil makes the plastics that saves lives every day. from syringes to artificial hearts. hell i think some condoms may contain somekind of petroleum products. what we need is a government mandated recycling program to help eliminate waste and make us all responsible for the future.---tweety652

Hi Tweety! I still think we are slow dancing and should crap or get off the pot with this stuff.

What screws me up is that we ARE an exporting nation for oil products and nobody ever mentions that?

We (speaking for myself and the USA) are pigs and need to work hard on that. WE use too much stuff!!

I have a sore spot when it comes to oil because it is a family biz and they have worked so hard to find it, get it available and refine it for use at a wicked risk of losing big bucks or making big bucks and doing so in an environmentaly responsible manner!

Check out SGY on (NYSE) Which is Stone Energy of Lafayette, LA, T
