Are you thinking new or used? Since Chrystler took over the Jeep name I think they have been more dependable and many upgrades. The name Jeep is a love affair and folks have bought them again and again even when they were too rust prone, and did seem to need more repairs than average. I've known of some that never gave any unusual problems also.
If used go by the condition of the vehicle (any brand) first as abuse and neglect can be the worst enemy,
