98 cavalier w/70,000 miles 2.2 liter w/ 3 speed auto w/ overdrive stumbles around 45 mph. seems like it's hunting for a gear. also stutters when accelerating from a stop. tranny fluid and filter changed with no noticeable difference. any advice would be appreciated.

Have you replaced the timing belt yet??

Could be plug wires and they are hard to test and may test ok but aren't, T
