having trouble with unknown, front end low rumble noise while driving, looked for transfer case plug but none there, have not worked on front wheel drive cars before, turning to the right lessens the rumble, is it the power steering or the rack and pinion, have checked fluid and its fine in the reservoir.

The rumble if worse when turning is more likely to be a bearing or constant velocity joint. Could be a tire too. Noises are frequently hard to describe but when one does it worse turning one way or the other it's a clue, T
