Can anyone tell me the difference between a '57 Chevy, and a '57 Chevy Belair???? Thanks

Hmmm.... I think it's just a trim package with more chrome perhaps but so many folks were just adding the chrome back then you kind of can't always tell. The Impala I believe started in 1958 and was the top package, T

Thanks for the comment.. The only thing I've noticed is the the rear quarter panel trim. The belair is not just chrome trim, but also chrome filler inside the trim with the words BelAir. The regular Chevy does not have the chrome filler and it simply says Chevrolet. Outside of that, I can't see a difference.

Have you checked for an original sales brochure? I bet they cost some bucks now but real cool to have. My guess would be 50-75 bucks for that car but real cool to have, T

The 1957 Chev belair has a gold grill and the moldings on top of the rear frenders are much longer also the belair dashboard has some stainless steel bright work on it

belair was hard top only or conv no post had diff interior with inset in seats and outside had chrome side with inset in brushed stainless and full hub cap usully with with spinners
