chevy cavalier Can't Post

  When my 2001 cavalier engine is warm and come to a stop it tends to stall.
Does anyone know what I should do???Also i just put a diffrent tranny in it.

This stall is it a very violent, abrupt stall like if you were driving a standard transmission car with out pushing in the clutch type of stall?

To add and ask: Is this a standard or automatic? If it stalls like Dad said it could hurt the engine, or more. Is this the correct trans for the car as original? T
