Transmission shudders bad- need help Can't Post

My 97 Grand Marquis shudders very badly. I have tried using DrTranny shudder repair, and Lucas transmission repair with no good results. I have heard replacing the lockup solenoid should help . Would this really help it? and does anyone know where it is located because I can't seem to find much information. Thank you for any help!

When does it shudder? There is a possibility there is a plug misfire under a light load and causing an engine miss which makes the vehicle feel like shuddering.
