Stuck in 1st gear

Stuck in 1st gear Can't Post
I have a 1986 Chevy Suburban 4x4 automatic. The tran will not shift. 1st gear only. Reverse works fine. This came about in conjunction with a catostrophic rear differential failure. The rear differential has been repaired (by a reputable repair shop, not me)
Just no shifting now, any ideas?Unimpressed
