I have a 1980 Dodge 2-wheel drive pickup with a slant6, and a 727 tranny. The transmission is bad and needs replaced. I can get one at the right prie, but it was out of a v-8. Can you use a v-8 tranny on a slant-6? Will the original starter work if you can? Thanks for any information anyone can give me.
