Ok so the transmission control solenid is haveing problems and we are going on a trip in like 2 days. How do I get to the solenoid in a pontiac grand prix "97???

The fastest way to deal with this is get to a transmission specialty shop right away and even let them install it and test it. If you know what the problem is and how to do it they could still be the fastest at getting you the part you need,
