My 1997 Nissan truck was running great until we towed it 1,500 miles to new house. Upon trying to take it off the tow bar, it would not engage into reverse. We had to push it off. It smoked really bad, which was resolved by driving it. Now it will not go in reverse, no way no how. Never had problems like this before. It has almost 100,000 mi on it. Can anyone offer me help? I'm a female, so clueless about truck repairs.
