I had the transmission in my 1995 chev 2500 4x4 rebuilt. I'm doing the r&r myself.
I pulled out the troque-converter when I got it home so I could handle it, and now I don't think I'm getting it back in properly.
I've fiddled with it for probably two hours or more and from what the guys at the tranny shop explained to me, I don't think it's in right. Is it possible that they gave me the wrong torque? How do I find info on the rights one?

COMPARE IT WITH THE ORIGINAL ONE OR WAS THAT TURNED IN AS CORE, MOST TIMES WHEN IT SEATS YOU WOULD FEEL SOMETHING LIKE A FIRST (THUNK) AND THEN A SECOND ONE BEFORE FINALLY SEATINGUnsure THERE IS ALWAYS A CHANCE OF RECIEVING A WRONG PART IT HAPPENS MORE THAN YOU THINK.
