NO it is just the case around the evaporator not the other stuff I killed the squirrel cage and the case. I can't see how to get to the mounting for the case it looks like its on the firewall from the inside.

You've got two thread going now. If you have the new one in hand you can tell better than I can. Is it just that housing or the whole box that holds everything?

Look for clips, and studs that poke thru firewall - things like that, that may be stuck with goo even when all fasteners are removed they can be stuck. I just can say for each vehicle without looking at them - sorry,
