2001 Cavalier defrost not working on side windows Can't Post

Need advice, 2001 Cavalier 2.2 with a/c, front window defrost works great, both side defrost do not work at all - also at same time the traction control light is on but there are no bad codes ? unrelated ? probably but that is happening also. Any advice, thanks

I'm guessing the two things are unrelated. Any dash work known on this car?

The GM little side vents that I've noticed just tapped into the defrost ducts and didn't adjust separately and it's passive - no setting for those. I think there just may be some small snorkeling that isn't attached. No doubt hard to take a look too.

For the traction control - is the switch "on" and you didn't notice? --- A t/c switch somewhere?

Thanks for suggestions and reply. There is no switch on the Cavalier to turn the traction control on and off. I don't know of any dash work done on this car, have had it for two years. The check engine light comes on every time car is turned on as well as the traction light. It has been checked out and there are no bad codes. We checked the speed sensors and they are all working. The only thing we found on Shop Key is that the computer said so recycle the key, after recycling the key 100 times it said the tc light will go out if there is no hard problem but it is staying on. No codes to tell us where to go. I guess this is off topic for this forum, sorry.
The a/c heat problem was with the side defrosters. I will try to get in to see if there is any snorkelling disconnected and get back to you. The front window completely defrosts but the side windows ice up if it's cold enough.
Thanks again, PHil

Just post in transmissions for the traction control questions as I'm about sure that's nothing to do with the side defrosts. I've owned a few that have those and they do help quite a bit. Do you feel anything at all coming out of them. Many I've noticed aren't too aggressive. It would be very strange for both side to be just a hose peice that disconnected at each side??

This year has thrown some extra cold at us with the ice factor. Long before many cars had those I would just open the window a bit which directs heated air towards the opening so I wouldn't notice it too much in my own vehicles as that just plain works.

If they are in fact doing nothing I would need a diagram that I don't have to guess at why for this for just the ductwork as I really doubt they are electrically or vacuum motor controlled,
