1987 Chevy Blazer died won't restart? Quote | Reply

I need an answer to a question for a 1987 CHevy Blazer S-10 2.8L V-6 Auto AIR 4x4. I was driving down the road 40MPH and it just quit running No lights warnings just dead. I tried to re-start it and it seemed to be not getting Fuel. I poured some fuel into the carb and it ran but when i pressed the accelerator it died. Believed the fuel filter was bad and changed that after adding 5 gallons of gas. Still no go. I have cahnged the ECM had the fuel pump tested checked all electrical connections and only found a short or what apeears to be a short to the ECM fuse in the Fuseblock. It reads 12.48 volts when tested. I can not find a bad wire and have had several friends help do the checking with me and for me.The PROM and CALPAK are from the old ECM . I have been going at this for about 2 months weather permitting and still no Luck. any ideas would be greatly appeciated.
