I recently bought this car and it kind of chugs a couple of times when you try to take off, it also never idles at zero even when completly stopped. The lady i bought the car from said it was the oxygen sensor does that sound right. If so should i be looking for other problems??

Have to ask some questions here.....

* How many miles?

* Sounds more like plugs and wires could be the trouble - Plugs should all look the same. If one is different that's a clue. If up there in miles the cap and rotor should go too if orig.

* O2 sensor will be triggered by misfiring and may not be the problem.

* Do you have a check engine light on? If so there's something stored that could help for the fix.

I know I sound like a broken record but do a check for air cleaner assembly and for any wires or vacuum hoses that may look wrong. Good luck with the fix, T
