2001 Honda Accord EX Sedan 4-cyl. Manual Trans Checked this after the CHECK ENGINE light came on. I am not noticing anything wrong with startup or the running of the engine.
Seems the Check ENGINE light comes on only sometimes and usually when the car has been driven for a good amount of time. I suppose when it gets heated up.
I'm getting:
P1162
P1167
The AutoZone readout says they are both for the 02 sensor.
My question is how do I know which one? Pre or Post Cat?
Just to make sure: The PRE CAT is the one in the front of the engine coming off the manifold's hot plate? And the POST CAT is the one underneath the car, correct?
OK, so then how do I know which one? What to look for in a bad one? Testing tips?
Thanks again in advance.
