I'm having problems with the starting of my engine My skoda Felicia(T reg). when i've actually completed part of the journey, then stopped and tried to start again, it goes through the motions of wanting to start but wont. I have to get out of the car and open and close the car door(key) and try again( i was given this adviceby a friend), sometimes i have to do this several times and then it starts. Could any person tell me what's wrong? Dave

I haven’t seen a Skoda since the early 80’s.
I'm not even sure if they're sold here in Canada; my repair manuals don’t even list them anymore.
