2001 Toyota Corolla power window wiring Can't Post

I've recently installed a remote starter on my 2001 corolla, I got a Bulldog Security remote starter model 500 deluxe, it works like a charm. The remote starter has options to control other devices remotely , i.e. sunroofs, windows etc. I would like to be able to open my windows remotely, but I can't find the wires to the power windows that I would have to tap into to control them.

I probed all the harnesses attached to the fuse box but found nothing, my first thought was it would be near the power door locks since the two power devices are located in the same area, (the door)

Anyone know where these wires are?

I may get yelled at by webmasters here but my suggestion is DON'T MESS WITH IT!! Man will you be sorry for cutting into wiring unless you use a soldering gun and shrink wrap and sealant. It's your call and your car. They barely make them new that hold up and if you want to alter it just take the time to do a good job. Best - T

The wires will be at the master driver's control. Contact the company for exact details.

FYI - cars are NOT TV sets and I don't think remotes belong in them. Any good thief can then open your car and do whatever. Show a a good theif just keys and they are lost! If you don't solder in all your connections and seal them up you have just created a nightmare in the future of wiring problems. I know everyone likes high tech in their cars. It does make it hard to figure out when it's been messed with for a repair later. If not from the factory I don't recommend any additions and I may stand alone on that.

Keep your paperwork from Bulldog as that may really help at some point. At any rate, you are doing this and we are here to help -TSmile

Thanks a lot for advise and diagram, this weekend I'll try and find the wires that control windows AND recheck all my previously added custom wires, I've seen in stores something called "liquid tape", you think that will be a good alternative to soldering?

The "Liquid Electrical Tape" is excellent but still solder first. Keep the cap on that the second your not using it as it hardens fast. Handy product for other things household and all. It tolerates the extremes in a car even better than quality electrical tape which you could alway put over it too. -T
