2000 Suburban....the truck was ideling when it suddenly quit running, now the truck wont restart and the fuel guage wont register at all (although it has almost 1/2 a tank of fuel)....ived checked the fuses.....any ideas? thanks

The pcm controls the fuelpump, so have the computer codes read, and the fuelpump/guage is a assembly and running off the same circuits....so if you have a bad f.pump it would effect the guage too and that could might as well be the trouble on the other hand.

thank you for the suggestion...while I realize it could have simply gone bad once again, I had a local GM dealer install a new fuel pump less than 10 months ago.

p.s. does anyone know where the PCM is located on a 2000 Suburban .....Thanks , Kent
