Had alpine player in jeep. all worked fine from wire hookup. replacing with jvc player. hooked up..got power, etc. but when speakers are hooked (following diagrams on back of player) but not sound. I unhooked and hooked alpine back up, all works well. unhooked and hooked jvc back...all works excepts stero sounds. wires are hooked up correctly (according to diagram) but can't get it to work.[:/]

Are you using the same alpine radio connectors to hookup the jvc radio? Or did you get a jvc wire set

No. I had the jeep wires hooked up to the alpine wire harness. the jvc cam with its own harness. hooking to jeep wires also. it seems like it should be simple.

should be really simple then. I'm trying to remember if this has ever happened to me before.
