I tried starting my car last night and it couldn't start. After 3 tries, it eventually started. There were no clicking noises just the sound of the key turning. Does anyone know what this problem could be.

Could be the solenoid. Find your solenoid on the starter, and give it a tap with something the next time that happens. May be good to get battery tested as well.
