Had to take the radio out of a 98 chevy blazer, now the radio says theft lock. What is the code to unlock the theft lock?

You may need the dealer and proof of owership to get that back. Look in your owner's manual it might be printed or hand-written in there?? T

I have procedure to get the code for radio, but to get the unlock code, you need a dealer to call GM to get an access number.

Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds.

press and hold the preset 1&4 or 2&3 for 9 to 12 seconds to get the access code then call 1800 537 5140 when the recording starts put in 106010* then put in the access code-they will tell u the lock code
